Another Tag today, I can't help it I'm really in a Tag Period, I have all these tags that I used for left over ink and paint that are so inspiring to do something with them. And then it is just my gut feeling that is doing the rest. Today I had very little time to craft yet I did manage to do something.
Thank you for reading my blog and have a great weekend.
You probably think I abandoned you, let me assure you I didn't, but sadly I got my share of the flue season that is still going around here. So the 40 days were a bit on suspend. But the last 5 days are here starting today.
And to start a tag that kind of is representing my mood today.
Sharing pages from my art journal(s) is always very personal for me so I rarely post recent pages, today I want to show you a page I did way back but every time I see it still got it's powerful message that it was intended to have. Relax, don't forget to enjoy and relax and enjoy the journey.
Today I wanted to share with you a little notebook that is so handy in the handbag.
We ladies love them oh so much.
And who wouldn't like to receive this little one with a little message from that one special person right on top.
This was a fun and quick way to make a little gift, you could do them in every theme and it are always nice gifts, and everyone needs little notebooks and even if you don't need them you still want them don't you?
I used Graphic 45 papers (typography) and a bit of Tim Holtz tissue tape to make a pretty spine.
I enjoyed making pieces for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge these past two weeks and so I decided to do it more, and because there is no time like the present I made a Butterfly Box for the B is for ... challenge this week.
Art journal pages are not something I show often, because mostly when I make them it is very therapeutic and also something I consider as very private.
Yet I found in this series that I should at least put in one or perhaps a couple, but at least one Art Journal Page. And I found one in a page I did over a year ago when I was testing new stencils and stamps and I was inspired by the weather as well.
I'm so so sorry, I wasn't able to put in the time to blog yesterday. I really tried but it just wasn't possible, I guess it was bound to happen at least once with a 40 days series. But no worries it just means you get two post today :)
My yesterday post is about encaustic art again. It is just such a nice product and so much fun to do. The pictures are a bit from a weird angle but it's the only way i found (for the moment) to show you the true vibrance of the colors without having the flash light reflecting in the encaustic pieces, because they are not only deep and vibrant in colors they also are so glossy shining.
Those are actually card panels, and here I mounted some of them on the cards already. I just love the look. And they are flat so really nice if you want to mail them.
