40 Days of ... Art - Day 35 - Masculine Card

Today a masculine card. It is actually the technique and stamp combination Tim Holtz showed in his 12 tags of 2013 series, I think for the month August.

I made the tag then and I (still) make it in card version, when you have to give a card to a men they simply love a card like this.

I like to try new techniques, trying new things out is very exiting for me.

This little canvas is based on sharpies, who would have thought. I don't know if I'll keep this as an abstract piece or if I'm going to use it as background and put some eye catcher on it.

40 Days of ... Art - Day 32 - Easter Card

Hello World,

Finally I'm able to blog again. I had a few hectic days, but here I am and today you'll get 3 posts :) 

It is almost Easter and I'm getting in the  mood so I made an Easter card. 

With scraps, I always have leftover pieces in the front of my paperpads, and when I'm making small projects or a card like this on I challenge myself to use those scraps. 

Sometimes the colours aren't contrasting enough like was the case here, but with a bit of Distress Ink you can just give it the little extra that just tie it together.

OK, when I'm tired and don't have much time to craft I make birthday cards (or tags), it is just something that makes me happy and it is very relaxing to do.

Last night was one of those nights and so I made this card, I was so tired that taking a picture and blogging it wasn't working at all. So here it is.
